Razing Kayne (Walking a Thin Blue Line, #1) - Julieanne Reeves I love a good cop/hero story. Add some suspense and high ratings, and it's on my TBR!

But this one just fell.......flat. And I thought it was too unbelievable at times. I kept waiting for the chemistry between Kayne and Jessica to start, and the fact that he starts calling her "baby" (a major term of endearment) in what seemed like the first week of knowing her was a major turn off for me.

At 50% I was wondering how many more pages I had left and was headed into DNF territory. It was too fluffy sweet giving me major eye rolls. At 65%, I started skimming. I did not care enough about anyone anymore and skipped many pages. And then the ending, where it all wrapped up I had a headache. There was just too much going on.
Pulse (Collide, #2) - Gail McHugh
Hmmmm, kind of a letdown to me after reading Collide. I didn't hate it, but I didn't love it. It was long and drawn out and kinda boring, and I got tired of Emily being nervous, the constant crying and throwing up. That bit at 83% was a WTF moment!
Collide (Collide, #1) - Gail McHugh Drama? Angst? Hot Sex? It's all here. Is the heroine a doormat?, Unfortunately, yes. But I feel the next book will have her kicking some ass. Well I at least hope so. Ever read a book and think you are watching a motion picture? This author delivers that and so much more. Do I sound like an ad? Maybe, but trust me on this one.

"He caught her by the chin and made her look at him. His eyes—that light, wild blue—blazed into hers. “Damn it, Emily, I want us! You belong with me, not him.” He half snarled the declaration. “Every part of you was made for me. Your lips were made to kiss mine, your eyes were made to wake up to me looking at you in my bed every morning, and your fucking tongue was made to roll my name off of it. I am more certain of us than I’m certain I require oxygen to breathe"

There are many more descriptive scenes that would take me pages to write about here. Read this story.
Tattered Love (Needle's Kiss #1) - Lola Stark Mace shifted so he was above me. He looked down at me like I was the most precious thing in the world. His hands framing my face, he leaned down and softly kissed my lips. Pulling back slightly searching my face, he whispered, “I love you, Scar".

Cute story, mild angst and drama. You kind of have to wade through numerous sex scenes to get back to the story and find out what Mace is hiding, and I thought the Janelle story line just lacked

A short quick read. I did like the pacing and authors style. I'll read book two, looking forward to more with Mace's brother Trip and Teen.
Craving Constellations (The Aces, #1) - Nicole Jacquelyn Loved it! Can't wait to find out who Cassie is!
Heavy Issues (Bowen, #2) - Elle Aycart
Interesting story line, and one I have not encountered before. Emotional eating. The author did a good job explaining this. The story starts out with a bang, and ends with some formulaic fight/makeup scenes. I was hoping for a little more drama. If I was not already at 90% I probably would have skimmed through the rest. Love these Bowen Brothers though! Hot sweet dirty talkers. Gotta love that!
You Can't Go Home Again - Aubrianna Hunter Overall I enjoyed it! I will admit that I wanted to knock Jace & Dani's heads together now and then. Humorous at times, with great secondary characters. I will definitely read more from this Author.
Hidden Depths - Aubrianna Hunter What a great read! What's a man to do when he finds himself engaged to the wrong woman? He pursues the love and the life that he wants. So starts this extremely steamy and oh so hot love story.

....she had always been free. A little wild, a little dangerous, always different and always true to herself. She never seemed to care what anyone thought.

Great secondary characters, I loved all the witty banter.

I really loved the epilogue. I'm looking forward to reading more from this author.
The Party (The Propostion, #0.5) - Katie Ashley Looks promising!
Saviour - Lesley Jones Women of all ages should read this book. It deals with some heavy issues for both Lauren and Gabe. Lauren's abuse had practically destroyed her self esteem, and her internal dialogue was so well written it made me cry more than once

Like to read sex scenes and are long and very descriptive? Then you will like this one! Hot hot hot!
Unteachable - Leah Raeder I think this had it all. I was in a reading FUNK when I started this. But I could not ignore the reviews. Hit all my buttons, angst, romance and laughter. Not to mention the lyrical writing, that captured me in moments many, many times.I absolutely LOVED it.
Everything For Us (The Bad Boys, #3) - M. Leighton Nash. What a hottie! But he spends a lot of time being a badass. Anger management issues! A little mystery & suspense kept me turning the pages.

New Orleans, that was kinda hot and kinda wtf! You'll see!

Solid, I did like books 1 & 2 more though.
Laid Bare (Brown Siblings, #1) - Lauren Dane This will be one that everyone liked but me. While I liked the storyline idea, I kept loosing interest due to the fact that I felt the main characters had no chemistry. Also it was choppy and the story did not flow. The sex scenes were repetitive. Some scenes had some real drama potential, only to be resolved, and everyone is happy 3 pages later. I kept putting my kindle down, and finding something else to do. When I found myself at 60%, I went from almost a DNF to powering through it. I did want to find out how it ended.
Thief (Love Me With Lies, #3) - Tarryn Fisher Loved it. Great series.
Dirty Red (Love Me With Lies, #2) - Tarryn Fisher Leah. Vile, the worst of the worst. Was Olivia toxic? Yeah. But, Leah? She knocks it out of the ballpark. And where is Caleb in all this? He certainly is not as innocent as we all want him to be. Effed up relationships all over the place, in almost every character, but I have a soft spot for Sam. Thank you Sam, you saved my sanity more than once in this book. Great read, makes me think I have lived a charmed life! Nice Cliffy. Can't wait to see how this shit pans out.
The Opportunist (Love Me With Lies, #1) - Tarryn Fisher Man. Olivia was so toxic. I really held out to the last possible moment hoping that she and Caleb would finally get together. But it never could have happened. Too many collisions. The ending was very sad to me, but I'm glad she learned to love him enough to understand why he would never get back with her. Sad, but happy ending too. Well, let's hope so.....
